Piss poor if they don't come. We will see how strong the Southern League is. Insult to the whole organisation

I am sure they will get a pathetically small fine for failure to fulfill fixture but doubt if they care they got what they wanted last weekend!
As both teams got what they wanted ie promotion it did seem a rather meaningless game? Perhaps the Southern League should award overall Championship Shield to team with highest points per game in future?
But we will be in National League next season so who cares!
Still unprofessional on Taunton's part and I spent ages doing a four page article for programme on past encounters between the two sides. At least they have not been printed!

Lost of cost to Banbury, they should be made to cover the cost. Many barrels of beer which have already been purchased now not required.
Hit them hard in the pocket, like £10k or get a side to Banbury.

Perhaps the Southern League should award overall Championship Shield to team with highest points per game in future? It was about the right to display that giant shield as overall champions. Banbury have won that right on two counts...

You have to hope the Southern League will take some punitive action but they probably won’t. Just as well Farnborough didn’t win the league, they wouldn’t have turned up either😂😂😂

Statement now up on Taunton’s website, in essence they are saying that their squad was down to bare bones and being patched up game to game so in the interest of player’s welfare they have made the decision to pull out of this match wit regret.

Truly pathetic excuse. If they had been in the play offs, would they have withdrawn and 'protected ' their players?
Arrogant, disrespectful and insulting. Will they be punished- doubtful, will We lose out financially - absolutely

It would be interesting to see how many players Taunton have signed on to play in the SL

If they offer to play the match pre-season they can do one. So when officially do we come under National League jurisdiction? I assume there is a process to follow?
