Well what a season this has been, I have to admit that when we lost the first game of the season at home to Swindon Supermarine my initial thought's were "Oh no here we go again" but how wrong that turned out to be. Frailties were still evident especially with our usual exit from the FA Cup but the team was still in the early stages of being rebuilt. The standout thing for me is to look at the team sheets week after week and see a balanced settled team. The basis for any success is down to a group of players who get to know each other and this has been born out this season. Mike Ford and his backroom staff have performed nothing short of a miracle and given us the supporters, a club we can now be proud of again and with the rise of the CBS we can truly say we are Banbury" UNITED". Whatever the future now holds for us the dark days have disappeared and the future is something to look forward to with anticipation.

And perhaps we'll be able to shed the 'little old Banbury' mentality. Conditioned by years of disappointment we had become grateful for a few victories over 'bigger' clubs or the occasional top 10 finish. Excuses often featured the 'problem' of the ground. Seasons were dead in the New Year and how did we respond? "Next year, then." "Nah. Can't happen here."
Fifteen seasons (2000-2015) at Level 7, average position 14th. I'm sure we can do better than that. A lot of the 1,100 Banbury folk who turned out on Monday will expect it. The new board has set a very high standard in its first season. Of more than 160 relegations at Levels 5-7 since 2004, just six clubs have gone back up the following year. The other five weren't broken when they went down.

Fantastic season for everybody at the Club. I'd imagine the Management team are working hard already for next season. We need to reinforce/consolidate that feeling that we can beat anybody in our new division, this confidence filtering down to the supporters that we have (and don't yet have). I'm looking forward to visiting the likes of Merthyr Tydfil etc and potentially some cup runs. We need to keep the 1,232 engaged and prevent the recent great days from fading from memory (look forward to more fantastic memories). I shall be contributing to the Spencer Fund (Mark Allitt, you know where you can contact me for details). We're the Red and Gold Army. ps Puritan Radio is a great service with Tom and my old class mate (and fellow Villan) Dave doing a great job.

What a fantastic season, both on and off the pitch. Mike Ford and ALL the players have been brilliant. Playing the right way, and showing a great team spirit. I am confident that this team will do well in the Premier Division. Well done Fordy. Happenings off the pitch have been remarkable. No moaning about money worries, loads of sponsors, more advertising boards around the pitch than we have ever seen before, supporters pumping in cash both as shareholders and player fund backers. The management board have all been wonderful. How good a Chairman is Ronnie Johnson ? A real Banbury celebrity, full of enthusiasm for the job, long may he continue. Dave Wyatt has controlled the purse strings in a professional manner. Mark Allitt has worked his socks off getting some fantastic financial backing for the club. All of the board have been wonderful. With this first season under their belts I am sure they will continue to do a great job for the club next season. This has been a truly memorable season. Supporter numbers up, cashflow up, ambition up, professionalism both on and off the pitch, no more small club mentality, and a promotion to just confirm how far we have come. We all owe a huge vote of thanks to Mike Ford, the players, and above all our brilliant management board.
WE ARE UNITED.

Paul Saunders and Nigel Porter proposed the idea of a supporters trust in 04-05. They were voted down but have been vindicated.
