Prize money has been announced. No change from last year for the qualifying competition but 1st and 2nd round winnings are increased (the win/lose split no longer applies).
Win (lose): 1Q – 2,250 (_.750) 2Q – 3,375 (1,125) 3Q – 5,625 (1,875) 4Q – 9,375 (3,125)
1 – 22,629 (last season was W 16,972; L 5,657) 2 – 34,000 (25,500; 8,500)
Here's what Banbury would have won for reaching the First Round Proper since the big prize money started. Preliminary Round start 01-04 and 15-16, 1Q the rest: 01-02 – 46,000 02-04 – 22,000 04-08 – 21,000 08-15 – 27,500 15-16 – 29,425 16-18 – 27,500 18-19 – 55,000 19-20 – 41,250
Will prizes ever return to the more generous levels of the past?

Another kind draw – and note that we're back in the southern section, at least for this round.

Twitter comment of ‘we're coming for you again’ was a bit condescending, doesn’t display any respect for the opposition.

Quite apart from which it doesn't make sense. 'We're coming for you' could be taken as a threat.

Couldn't have asked for a better draw. Home tie against lower league opponents. Mustn't be to complacent, but it's a great opportunity to progress in the competition.

Could not really ask for a better draw. Think the twitter comment is just a generalisation

If we win and we should and then get a home draw we'll have been at home for 7 consecutive Saturdays

Scratchy performance, well marshalled with a good keeper so well played Ardley. Jordy still decent. Let's hope we go somewhere New and south.

Not a brilliant performance, but good enough. Ardley keeper is class.

Oxford have been in SE and SW recently but if they're included with Banbury it makes for an even number – or Banbury go to the Midland zone and Oxford the SE.
