Experienced football coach and UEFA Pro-license holder, Simon Hollyhead, has been appointed as Banbury Unitedโs new First Team Manager. The Banbury United project has enticed the former Assistant Manager at Champions League side, Malmรถ FC, to return to team management, despite having turned down Football League opportunities.

An interesting choice...

Well.....that's an interesting appointment. Depends how part time he is. Might get lots of young Northampton players?

Looks like a good appointment on paper, buuut naff all is won on paper.
Like he's done some background checks and saw the last home game.
Good luck Simon.
Will keep "Si's at the wheel" in it's box ATM.

First time I have heard of the club being called a โProjectโ. Havenโt heard or know anything about the new manager but then we all said โAndy who โ when he was appointed so letโs all see what develops.

Good luck to the new manager. I must confess I have never heard of him. Hopefully he will be a success, and bring in some good young players. A new chapter.

First time I have heard of the club being called a โProjectโ. Modern management speak, I suppose. Perhaps that's where the superfluous capitals come from. There are more in the report. I must write a letter to the Local Papers.

Looks a gamble but this was said about Whingy. From what I can see has been an assistant manager at 2 respectible top flight Scandinavian clubs. Hasn't managed for 5 years. His profile appears to state he's also a specialised fitness coach which seems a plus. Let's get behind him

A completely fresh start on and off the pitch. It can only be seen as a positive step after the chaos of the last 12/18 months.
As always, words need to be backed up with action. But at least it feels like theres something to look forward too again

Another surprise as manager but sorted promptly alongside the new chairman so a fresh new start - needed after the past 18 months.
An interesting CV and like his quote about getting the club to its highest level by 2031 for the centenary year. I'm pretty sure the board were as excited last season with their appointment given how strong Mark Jones was on paper...
Hoepfully the baord will announce the AGM soon as an update to members is long overdue.
Looking forward to the new season now!

Jones looked awful on paper and was as bad in real time, let's not forget that the board was right in sacking him but wrong in replacing him with KW.
New chap is a complete unknown as was whingy, let's give him our backing and hope for success! The only way is up!...hopefully

You have your links muddled. I don't think Simon Hollyhead ever lived in Middle-earth!
