I have my fingers crossed that the Manager and Team realise the significance to the supporters of playing THEM from up the road🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

Cheery taunts of "You're not very good" and "Going down, going down" can be expected from the Brackley supporters, whose presence in large numbers must nevertheless be appreciated because of the difficult financial circumstances. Fancy having to be grateful to The Bogside!

Not a lot to say really. Brackley are a useful side, their defence is excellent. They are certainly not as good as Scunthorpe, but they are a fair side nonetheless. Once again we were lacking all over the pitch. The team don't seem to play for each other. We don't seem to have any passion. We never play in a pressing, attacking manner. I would love to know why Wheeler was taken off, he looked our best player. A strange decision. Sadly another 3 points dropped, and we continue with a relegation struggle. It's difficult to see how things are going to improve under the current regime.

Brackley were no way as good as last year. Ref and Linesperson missed Tai being kicked by the defender in the first half red and penalty clearly missed. Hewitt lost the ball to many times and Tope looked like he was not interested in playing when he came on. Brackley played for the first 10 minutes and sat back.

Sadly the slide continues and to lose by the odd goal is even more galling.

Other results weren't too damaging. Only Peterborough and Blyth overtook Banbury. Peterborough's win at Bishop's was their third in five games. Blyth won at South Shields who have faded quite notably since owner Geoff Thompson announced in October that he was selling up for health reasons. Gloucester, Rushall and Southport all lost after being ahead, the latter surrendering a two-goal first-half lead at Curzon. Spennymoor have dropped 11 places since the middle of November after taking just one point from six matches. The more that are involved, the better.

The barometer for me for a new season is where you are situated at Christmas and I have to say it’s not very encouraging at all, obviously I have no idea what some of these players are being paid but with some it’s money under false pretence’s. It goes without saying that the higher up the leagues you go the more the wage demands become but in some cases players have an over inflated view of their own abilities and expect to be paid over inflated money. At the moment whatever the cost to us as a club it’s plainly not worth it. Tin hat on😳😳

Sparky is pretty much spot on. I'm not knocking the effort from the team, but quite frankly most of them are totally out of their depth. There is only one player in our entire squad that would get in the team at Brackley or Scunthorpe and that is Jack. We need a change of approach, and we need it quickly or the only certainty is we will be relegated, and we are unlikely to return to the present level any time soon.

100% agree with both the above. Change needed before it’s too late. #jonesout

Watching "them" Tuesday I believe Lawson would walk into their midfield.
Out of are current crop imo only Jack, Lawson, maja and possibly Tai if he has an experienced partner are good enough for the level.
It feels slightly harsh leaving dion out as he has flashes of quality but i think he is drastically let down by his surroundings, stick him with quality players and would up his level.
Obviously Aiden isn't ours so can not be included.
