Good luck. I would wager his contacts are not acquainted with trips to spenny,Blyth and Darlington. Let's hope he's as good as some think.

A bit more detail on Mark Jones' time at Oxford City and Hemel. In Dec 2016, he took over when City were 17th (of 22) with 21 points from 21 games. They took 31 from the 2nd half of their season to finish 14th. P W D L F-A Pts 2016-17 21 9 4 8 25-34 31 2017-18 42 13 10 19 60-69 49 16/22 FAC2 (R1 won at Colchester, R2 lost at Notts County) 2018-19 42 17 5 20 64-63 56 12/22 FAC1 (drew at Tranmere, lost replay at home); FAT2 (last 32) 2019-20 13 2 4 7 11-19 10
In 2019-20, he left in October when City were 20th in the league. They had already qualified for the First Round of the FA Cup and were beaten 5-1 at home by Solihull. Oxford had recovered to 13th on ppg when all sport was closed down. In 2021-22, Hemel were bottom with just one point from their first six games when MJ took over. He took them to 15th (of 21), briefly as high as 10th. The following season he left after the Boxing Day defeat by St Albans. Hemel were then 15th and finished 15th (of 24). 2021-22 34 13 8 13 44-53 47 2022-23 24 7 6 11 27-36 27

From the minutes of last week's meeting: "We received over 80 applications, with six first interviews and two final interviews."
Any idea who the others were?

Any idea who the others were? I'd hazard a guess that there were a few PlayStation Managers writing in, Managers from Sunday League sides desperate for a chance in the game, a few without coaching badges etc., etc., - it happens !!!
