Jed has announced in the Non League Paper he is no longer owner of the club , as he can't own two clubs. The ownership reverts back to Barry, Richard and Dave, are we any further forward?? Lots of questions to answer??Are we now looking for new owners? Has Jed left us with any debt? What about the staff and players on contracts some two years, who will pay for these? What happened to the co investors Jed first spoke of Martin King and Steve Deakin? Will we play Swindon in a preseason friendly?? Most important will Jed want his furniture and carpet back? ;D ;D Club statement please Jed also announced he will be a volunteer for us any ideas on what he could do, keep it clean? Paint the white lines with a toothbrush.

look, we all need to be very careful about what is said on here as in reality we still dont know the full details, and in honesty did we ever know the full details of the takeover?
I understand we all want an answer right this second and feel like we have been left in the lurch but until we have an official statement from the club (and the non league paper doesn't count) then we are simply guessing at what has, is, and will be happening.
one thing that hasn't been taken into consideration is that although there are rules stating an individual cannot be involved in the direct running of more than one football club, to my knowledge there are no such rules regarding investment, sponsorship etc etc...
something to think about before we all hit the panic button and bring out the lynch mob too quickly

I'm with Geoff unless someone can tell us how BUFC is now in a better position? Has debt reduced? Are contracts legal/binding at board and player level? Do these people want the club back or do they have no option because only a small amount paid by JM?
So many questions but very little in answers! Personally I do not wish to have any single association with STFC - never have.
NDA must now be complete - facts only please ... someone

Its simple really last few weeks jed has lied Fact he even told us he would not be on the board or have anything to do with swindon,he told us this after they sub mitted the application to the fa so he knew that night he was going to be chairman. It would not suprise me if club is in more debt now as for players on contract according to certain board members they dont know of any players on contract with banbury. Thr whole take over at banbury was a joke and people fell for it. I just hope jed feels sorry for the people who have been fighting his corner telling people i can assure you he is staying at banbury as this people look like idiots now.
On a brighter note prob have billy back bext year.

lets wait and see what the club says. Always reflecting me. Despite all, the football at times has been great to watch

We do need some sort of statment to give us clarity on the situation, but I echo Craig's sentiments that we need to perhaps hold fire until we 100% know what the heck is going on. With regards to ownership being passed back to David, Richard and Barry, from what I can make of companies house website they've never stopped being directors as far as I can see. Maybe someone more knowledgable than me on these matters could shed some light on that?

Mark, Jed formed a new company Banbury United F C Ltd, so did not take over the old company.

Thought he had dispensation to remain till end of season, think we will know by mass exodous of players to see who the pied piper was,me personally am looking forward to getting the clubs identity back, though the potential to go tits up is pretty bad i'd say.

Although it has been mentioned many times over the years,i think the way forward is to look at setting up a supporters trust?,the one big positive that has come out of this seasons off field roller coaster is that many fans who have never used the message board before have got involved and shows how many people truly care about the club, although there have been many differences of opinion in a strange way it has brought the fans closer together than ever before,i have always wanted the fans to have a direct role in running the club,i think this is the future of many clubs at non league level, and it has been proven to work at many clubs,Leamington for example, although we do not really know what the immediate or long term future of the club will be,the fans could be a safety net if all else fails.
