Read the forum today and suggest that fans wait for Jed to make a statement. Spoke to Jed and was told he is not leaving. But accordig to FA source forms were filled in wrong and Paul Jones is still named as Chairman. Well done Nigel. Roy I think it is a little harsh to blame NP ... looking at the quote on BG website today this looks like a premeditated long term plan when something more substantial came along. I have no problem with this, if this is what had been advertised over the last 6 months. I didnt get that - but that might just be me. Nice to see JM will be at Stourbridge game ... cant see many others there when MUFC v Real is on the box !

If ownership is being transferred back to those mentioned then I would suggest the key issue is in what state are the finances six months down the line from the original takeover.
There were debts of around £50k I think, without checking back, around the time of the takeover. If a substantial amount of that has gone due to Jed’s investment, then it won’t have been a bad six months! If those debts still exist in some form in the football club then that is worrying going forward.
I have no issue with Jed going to Swindon as Chairman and helping us out when he can as a volunteer and perhaps with player loans, but no more and I would have thought being Chairman of Swindon would be more than a full time job, though I do think we, particularly as volunteers, need to know who is in charge and have clarity on the ownership issue. We don’t want one person saying do this and another saying do that - that will do my head in!!

He will work his balls out his bags to get Swindon promoted. Then sell it up.

At the end of the day if someone gets a chance to run a league club you're going to take it. If Jed is moving on we thank him for his efforts and move on ourselves. Any voluntary help he can give us from this point moving forward will of course be greatly appreciated. However, as you Shadders, clarity is important now, BUFC as a club need to release a statement confirming who owns the shareholding in the club and who is formally in charge making the decisions.

Wonder if Di Canio signed a player contract before he left?

If Jed is to have an input what we don't want is a swindon town feeder policy. The biggest turn off this year has been the continuous turn over of players, some of them amongst the worse to pull on a Puritan shirt, let's (whoevers in charge) get back to a squad of 16/ 20 players and build the support which has so obviously been missing this season.
