Just seen the report on tv. If takeover completed Jed will have to sever ties with Banbury at end of this season. However best bit was that they showed a picture that was supposed to be of Jed - unfortunately it wasn't....it was a photo of Ady Fuller

Whoa there people, calm down !!! The reports that I've read say that it's "a consortium led by Jed McCrory" - the operative words are "led by" - that doesn't necessarily mean that Jed "is part of" the investors but more like he is the person who has some rich contacts/friends who have asked him to be involved in sorting the deal out for them ? If Jed had £13m (Swindon's reported debt) burning a hole in his pocket and his aim was a Football League club then would he really have got involved in Banbury ? I'd suggest 'No' as there are loads of Football league clubs out there that would welcome him like you would not believe ! The Press love a headline, they love a play on words, I know because I've been subjected to it so my suggestion/ recommendation is to keep calm, support the team and be happy that Jed obviously has contacts that might benefit Banbury Utd (pre-season friendly, loan players etc., etc) Hope that helps ?

BBC Oxford new said they are taking over the club debt free. The Swindon debt is owed to the owner Andrew Black, any takeover would I'm sure be subject to the repayment of the Owner's loan - and then it'd debt free !

Calm down ;D ;D I might be wrong on all these points, we'll find out Friday.
1) Jed is the owner of BUFC, all liability's are his he can only sell the club he can't walk away!!! 2) Jed is a business man apparently on the board of 13 companies, this is what he does. 3) He might be involved in the Swindon take over in some way but is it a bad situation for Banbury (owner of Banbury on the board at Swindon???) 4) Last point if Jed walks away are we worse off i would say no we've got nice carpet and chairs in he clubhouse!!!!

And apolgise for any inconvenience caused to all i look forward to Friday with all, obviously through media exposure through a third party unknown to myself .. Communications extremly difficult ...
