This is Mike Berry, who had a season with Banbury in the early 1970s (playing mainly in the reserves alongside Ollie Kearns up front, and towards the end of the season in the first team for a dozen games or so). I now run BACKPASS, the retro football magazine (www.backpassmagazine.co.uk) and we are planning a Banbury feature later this year. With that in mind, I am trying to locate Tony Jacques. Anyone have any ideas? The club don't know, nor the Guardian, nor Fenny Compton Buildings, where he worked. Someone did say he might have moved on to Winchester after leaving Banbury but the trail has gone cold. Any help would be gratefully received. You can pm at editor@backpassmagazine.co.uk.
