It's as quiet on here as the old board was in its last days. Is this a reflection of the team's indifferent form? What's happened to the enthusiasm and optimism of the early SLP days?

You've got to remember to that there is a lot of people that will not know that this forum is up and running, as they have been used to accessing the forum through the OLD Website not the Pitchero site which is where you get the link for this forum

We will advertise it on Saturday but also please spread the word where supporters can now find the forum.

That was something that I was going to suggest on Saturday to let the supporters know that the forum is up and running again in a different place thanks for that

And why would anyone gain access to the old forum via the old website anyway? Surely they would have created a direct link? Anyway, the question that I posed was about the lack of activity on either forum and the subdued mood of the supporters. Perhaps we haven't yet shaken off our Christmas and New Year hangovers...

The hacking of the old forum and the subsequent decision (forced upon us) to bin it is very much a blessing in disguise in the long term.
Because the old forum was held on banburyunited.co.uk it was not possible to direct the old domain name to the new web site without losing the forum. For six months we thus had an outdated banburyunited.co.uk website which was an embarrassment but was difficult to get rid of whilst keeping the old forum.
Thus whilst it is a hassle for everyone to register on a new forum it is for the long term good.
Our friends at Hunter Design have thus this morning been able to automatically route all traffic to the old forum and old website directly to the new website. That is great news. Anyone who has bookmarked the old forum will thus find themselves on the new website. And with a link to the new forum on the front page of that site I don't think they should have a problem finding it.
But we will advertise the new address of the forum in Saturday's programme

I'm in agreement with Shadders.
The fact the website was in a different place to the forum without a direct link didn't help matters.
