So big game Saturday. Chippenham had to trim their playing staff after Christmas for financial reasons but still just on fringes of play-offs and of course beat Brackley last week. No doubt will still be a big side.
Like others still think we need some aerial presence up front. The maligned Jason was playing well before getting injured - Cambridge game was good, but doesn't seem to have had opportunities since. Hynes still injured I guess which is a shame. I think the physicality of Owen is good but would a start be a gamble?
I thought Marvin didn't look very interested last week and note he was an unsued sub on Tuesday. We need a performance from Stoney. Suppose finances are limited in terms of bringing a fresh face in who is better than we have already but would be good if we could!

It is about time we turned the tables on Chips and Ham,all we can hope is that we don't get kicked to bits by them, as in recent seasons this is how they play.Ever since that pillock Herring played for them they have not changed, shame really because they used to be a footballing side.

Herring played for Chippenham against Banbury in seasons 04-07. Wasn't he responsible for putting Darren Pond out of action for four months in 05-06? He certainly got Andy Baird sent off in 06-07 in one of the more obvious miscarriages of justice seen on a football field.
Have Chippenham changed much since Banbury first played them? Perhaps any change in style is down to the managers: 04-05 Steve White, then 05-07 Darren Perrin, replaced during 06-07 by his assistant Adie Mings who is still in the post.
The 5-0 win in 06-07 and the Town End's chorus of 'Darren Perrin on the dole' was one of the better memories of what turned out to be a very disappointing season, starting with The Juggler and ending with a record run of defeats.

Seem to remember that he maimed somebody else in the game that Andy Baird was sent off,a total nasty piece of work.

We need to turn this poor run around pretty soon as the fixtures don't get any easier! Maybe we can get a scrappy a win today, the pitch will be heavy if this rain continues like it is at the moment.

Not all doom and gloom as this was a performance that really should inspire a few to come back and watch again. Banbury played some really improved stuff ... disappointing to lose yet another late late goal.
Just a shame the officials just dont seem to wise to some of the antics of players ... rumour has it the equaliser should not have stood as the corner went out and back in, along with a couple of others the inept linno didnt call but flagged a 3 yds onside Learoyd !
