the Halesowen score is a shocker, looks like a last two game finish against Truro and Brackley could seal our fate. Our no 9 has scored more goals against us than for us this year.Easy game saturday anyway.

This result was much as I had expected, but given what happened to Halesowen tonight we have a serious problem. Mr B, if you mean by that that it's a poor do for Banbury to lose to a team against which Cirencester can score five then yes, but they did lose and I can't seen them gaining any points in their next two games (nor Banbury...). Weymouth and Tiverton, however, both have a chance of a win between now and next weekend. Sat: Bedford v. Weymouth, Didcot v. Brackley, Oxford v. Tiverton, Halesowen v. Salisbury Tue: Bashley v. Oxford, Leamington v. Halesowen, Tiverton v. Swindon Thu: Weymouth v. Didcot Incidentally, Banbury's points per game average equates to 40.5 from 42 – in 08-09 they finished with 41 from 42 games, so too similar for my liking (and yes, I know there are only 40 games this season). A bit early perhaps to be worrying about this but it's worth noting that at the moment ppg favours the NPL over the SL with the IL some way behind.
