Banbury United give late fitness tests to Declan Benjamin, Aynsley McDonald and Rob Maddox (all illness) before they travel to Tiverton. On-loan Oxford United defender Henry Owen (knee injury) and Ross Oulton (ankle) miss out.

Manager Billy Jeffrey said: "We are in a relegation scrap and we need to get a win. Tiverton will be tough – they have won their last three games."

Don't know where BJ gets 3 in a row, unless he's counting a 3-0 win against Royal Marines Amateurs in the Devon St. Lukes Cup...

This season: DLDWLLLWWLDLLLLLLDLDLLLWW (last two games: Hemel H 1-0, Windsor A 3-1 (a hat-trick for Joe Bushin)).

Attendances have fallen badly again, with 200-230 the norm, although only 124 saw last week's (midweek) win against Hemel.

Well,having returned from Tiverton empty handed I am still sat here wondering why we did'nt at least come away with a point if not all three. At the start Marvin was clean through with only the keeper to beat and got it all wrong then David Stone had his penalty saved and further chances came and went.Had all chances gone in we could easily have been 3-1 up at the break. Less chances happened in the second half but it could have finished up even more. Instead of that we were mugged in the 87th minute after a period of Tivvy pressure.It would have been interesting to be a fly on the wall in the changing room at the end of the game.
