Having just read the notes from The Dugout I would like to ask the manager what his definition is of a genuine supporter,the comment is crass and insulting to I believe genuine supporters myself included. If criticism can’t be taken then I would suggest that he is in the wrong job. I fully accept that this current team has had to be rebuilt but given the lack of consistency that we see from week to week as supporters we are going to be critical,after all it’s what the game is all about, if the management can’t take it on the chin when it’s deserved then the job market is the place to be. Sorry for this rant but most people know how long I have supported Banbury through thick and thin but not to be regarded as a genuine supporter because I have an opinion has angered me.

Totally inexcusable comment.
I have supported BU since 1969, I think that makes me fairly genuine.
Sadly I think Simon is not the best person for the job. He hasn't got the players to perform for him, and now he's alienating the supporters, who for the most part are very genuine indeed.
I am totally entitled to my opinion, and I will express it when I feel the need.
Most people on this forum know me, I'm not a trouble maker, just a genuine supporter.
Time for Simon to take a long, hard look in the mirror.

Very very odd and ill informed comment from the manager. I think he has shown his managerial inexperience by seemingly not handling criticism very well.
Purely on league position he’s not doing a bad job, he’s not doing a good job either but not a bad job by any means, however, as a person, he is becoming very very hard to like.
Sadly, you can only see this ending one way…

As a 'genuine supporter' I'm unsure how to understand a process that is so inconsistent. Also, blx to him. I'll be with the club longer than him.
That said, only take a couple of wins to get into play off spots. The issue isn't just lack of goals, but more per match would help.
It all feels a touch peculiar around the club at the moment - natives are restless.
