Yussef was sent off against Redditch and misses the game Tomorrow. Per HT manager no clearly strong teams, but he highly rates Banbury, and as expected wants to win the game!

Like Stamford, Halesowen have been up and down and back and forth in the post-2004 pyramid. Since relegation from the SL Premier in 2011, they've had spells at both levels of the NPL and the SL with two promotions (2014, 2023), another relegation (2019) and two transfers (2012 and 2018, the latter after having been reprieved for more league reforms). The interruption of 2020 cost them a chance of promotion from the SL Div 1 Central, when they were leading the table on ppg. Some of you might remember that the club was in trpublerdifficulty at the time of that earlier relegation. Average attendances fell below 300 in seasons 2010-13 but recovered to more than 500 in 2019-20. After the break they rose rapidly through two play-off seasons to reach more than 1,100 last season, their return to Step 3. 3,250 had seen them beat Spalding in the 2023 play-off final. From 1935-36 to 2018-19 in all competitions, Banbury have won 19 and Halesowen 27 with 11 draws (in the SL, 6 and 13 with 5 draws). Overall Halesowen were the better team and controlled much of the game limiting the chances we could create, it had 0-0 written all over it until the goalmouth scramble that led to their goal. We desperately need a target man up front but as has been said many times before strikers are the hardest commodity to find. Hopefully the team will get this out of their system and go for it at the weekend.
The manager in his post match interview made reference to the officials without going into any detail and having now seen the first half challenge how the Halesowen player only received a yellow card is beyond belief,it looked reckless from a distance but seeing it closer it was awful. Why do we have to keep putting up with the standard of officials we seem to be getting, the one on Saturday hadn't got a clue and last nights wasn't much better.
