It was a pretty poor game, in a pretty poor stadium with a pretty poor crowd, overall a depressing reminder of what the old southern league days were like.
We were poor, having said that, we probably didn’t deserve to lose, it was a classic 0-0 game bar the final 5 minutes, we missed a great chance to go 1 up (off the line clearance) then got punished down the other end.
Sadly untill we have some experience in centre midfield able to play the majority of the game and a striker that’s not still at school, these kind of performances will keep happening, we can not keep relying on one man (aj George) as Right now he’s our only threat.
It’s early days but work to do, Need this team to offer us some inspiration as the apathy from last season is still lingering hard

In other words a big reality check!! ...or a little more optimisticly - it was a little reminder for us after the win at Barwell that we've a new Manager and a new squad (which is still being assembled) which is learning a new style of play in a different league to us this season Won one, drew one, lost one - we weren't promised promotion with a big money squad so .....
