Well the new season is upon us and the club has undergone somewhat of a transformation following the debacle of last season, so the big question is what does everybody think. We all said that change was needed and on the face of it change has certainly happened hopefully for the better.

On paper and based on interviews, we could have a Manager that will surpass Andy Whing's success here.
Early squad signings seemed to me like we were just building a quality youth side but we're now looking good
Let's see how the first few games pan out - can we impose ourselves on other teams eg take the game to them
Overall, I'm optimistic !
Bring it on !!

The team looks better and hopefully the performances will follow.
Unfortunately SH has been unable as yet to get the killer forward he wants. Time will tell on that one. Overall I think we are in a better position than this time last season

Well, here we go again. New season, totally new look. Time will tell re the new board. Good luck to them, it's a big challenge. Finances will be all important. Expect lower attendances this season, much reduced travelling support. The recent post from the board asking for some pretty heavy sponsorship is a bit worrying. On the pitch, all we can do is wait and see how it goes. It's a repeat of last season, a totally new team. For me success would be a decent cup run, a mid table finish, and finishing the season in the black financially.

The recent post from the board asking for some pretty heavy sponsorship is a bit worrying. The renewal by John Nicholls is good news. How much of a hole there to fill? Previous seasons: 15-16 37,899 16-17 73,349 17-18 101,012 18-19 104,796 19-20 100,119 21-22 110,754 22-23 193,320
