Whilst accepting the limitations as indicators for the season ahead. Did any forum members go to Warwick? Did any/All of the signed players play? General thoughts ?

My contact tells me that the first half was very ordinary but the second was much better when Reilly and a well-known triallist came on.

Pre-season friendlies are just ; 1 fitness excercises 2 a time for the Manager to assess potential new signings and assess whether his proposed tactics will stand up 3 a time when the Manager prays that there'll be no injuries or suspensions 4 a time to get beer flowing through the pumps and the clubhouse tills hopefully ringing ..... but how was last night's game v Easington ?

I enjoyed last night's game. I thought there were some good passages of play - the team had a shape and a style of play. It looks quite progressive. Compared to this time last season, where it really wasn't. The recruitment appears to be considered and structured. I like the fact that SH is more positive than MJ was at this point.
