Puts us in our place then doesn’t it, years of trying to negotiate a new ground without success and another local team raises concerns about the same problems we have and it makes the BBC news😔😔

Puts us in our place then doesn’t it, years of trying to negotiate a new ground without success and another local team raises concerns about the same problems we have and it makes the BBC news😔😔 Being on the BBC web-site doesn't guarantee you a new ground Lazy journalism by the BBC in my opinion, they should've contacted the senior club in the town as well in order to gain an overall town football view In the past, discussions with the Council would I'm sure have been subject to confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements hence why we couldn't shout about it. If we shouted when any previous negotiations had ended then no future Council would've even spoken to us again The article will/could help us, we did have an MP or Councillor (?) down here recently when we were flooded so they're still certainly aware of us and our needs. Perhaps there'll be a Banbury Council stadium in the future with a plastic pitch that we will share with Easington ? With the General Election looming, I'm sure the Club would've asked the lead candidates re their potential support for us if elected ?

Wasn’t suggesting that a BBC report would have any bearing on getting a new ground but rather Easington being highlighted rather than us, as you suggested lazy journalism,as regards the local MP having visited the cynic in me has just seen a flying pig go over.
