Sounds as if the board itself is leaning more towards a business model hopefully to fully support the playing side, the importance of employing the correct manager and back room staff cannot now be overstated.

Interesting appointment. I am told he used to be the landlord at the Buck and Bell in Banbury ~ 20 years ago, which I do vaguely remember.

I have. I am cautiously optimistic. You can't run a football club business by heart alone. But then, I am a 'football fan' therefore always cautiously optimistic.

He mentioned the manager and next season's placement. The two are obviously related. Although our destination isn't known yet, it looks even more likely that it will be the Central section after the defeat of Bury Town in the play-offs. Fingers crossed that the right decisions are made by both the FA and the board.
