Firstly let’s not get in to a “we have better things to do” debate, deep down we all know our old logo looked horrific and was the source of much amusement to other fans- think at the negative impact that has on merchandise and branding - which from a commercial point of view is important!
I personally like the new badge- things like this will always be subjective to personal taste but what can not be denied it’s a big improvement on the old one which was simply unmarketable

Totally agree. I was surprised by some people's notion that The Puritans could be have a logo based on the Banbury Cross.
Let's put this to one side, move on and get the other, more important issues sorted. Otherwise it's, as the saying goes, "rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic".

It's better than the options that were offered in the consultation but I'm not overwhelmed by it.
Once the nickname had been readopted, it was going to be difficult to include the cross or the town arms in the logo. There's a research project for someone: how many clubs incorporate their nickname in their official emblem? Obvious examples are Man Utd, the two Sheffields and West Brom. Those that don't include Everton, Burnley and Coventry. All of these are heraldic devices, often including the city/town arms. And then there's Wolves...
