2 points from a possible 51. Last win was January. Utterly shambolic this appointment has been.
I can’t wait for more pearls of wisdom when he joins the board.

Enough. This relegation was set up before last season had finished.

So how many did Tamworth bring in the end?

Huffed and puffed and did nothing. Missing a pen and hitting the woodwork. Application was there, young squad.
Yawn yawn.
Thanks Kev, really cemented your iconic status.
Kev's at the wheel 💙💙💙

With twenty minutes to go, we were heading for second bottom spot but two late Scunthorpe goals at Gloucester saw us stay third from bottom. We weren't in the drop zone when Jones was sacked and we certainly weren't in it after McKay's short spell - what a horrendous few months since

We certainly weren’t brilliant at any point this season but we were competitive. 17 points out of the 51 would have kept us up. Totally avoidable and that’s what hurts.

Some depressing stats (league matches).
The season started with a club record in progress, 13 consecutive home games without a win. One more was added.
Most consecutive defeats – 11.
Most consecutive games without a win in a season – 17. The overall record is 19 over two seasons, 83-85 (one defeat was removed from that run when Milton Keynes resigned at the end of 84-85).
Worst goals per game.
Second worst points per game (at 3 for a win) in a season. Worst was 29 from 38 in 83-84, equal to 35 from 46.
Banbury failed to score in 18 matches. That's a candidate but needs some research.
Lowest position in a table but it's only the fifth time that Banbury have played in a 24-club division. They've been nearer the bottom before, in 1985 and 1990: 83-84 – 18/20 84-85 – 17/18 89-90 – 21/22 14-15 – 21/23 23-24 – 22/24
NB The lowest point in the club's history was 15/18 in the Hellenic Premier in 1996.

I think Steve T's first point is valid and has been largely ignored in the search for blame that separates the three incumbent managers during our time in NLN. Realistically without our brilliant start to last season we'd have been in serious trouble then.

Guessing the presentation evening was a success?
Or couldn't anyone win that either?

Surely he is not hanging around? If we're that horrible as quoted . His managerial legacy is dog muck. No responsibility, threw good players and staff out. Will we ever know if this was planned, cause to an outsider looking in it looks and stinks rotten.
