Sadly today's result came as no surprise to any of us did it !
Kevin Wilson knows football so he knows what he needs to do this evening.
This is not a time for any personal insults or vitriol - people have done what they think was right for us but sadly it just plain hasn't worked.
Update on the rest of the results ;
(4) Brackl£y Town 3-0 Tamworth (1) (9) Chester 0-2 Alfreton Town (7) (3) Chorley 2-0 Blyth Spartans (17) (8) Curzon Ashton 2-0 South Shields (6) (12) Hereford 2-2 Buxton (14) (16) King's Lynn Town 3-4 Scarborough Athletic (13) (18) Peterborough Sports 1-0 Gloucester City (23) (21) Rushall Olympic 1-0 Boston United (5) (15) Southport 0-1 Scunthorpe United (2) (10) Spennymoor Town 3-1 Farsley Celtic (19) (11) Warrington Town 1-3 Darlington (20)

Updated league table - we are a 'special' club, we're the only team with 5 consecutive red 'L's

Forgive me quoting my own post from here: banburyunitedfc.proboards.com/thread/3530/bit-rebuild-needed?page=2...Mark Jones and Kevin Wilson are, in a sense, the victims of the failures of others. And they are. Bad decisions made – or good decisions not made – a year ago have led to this. Some of us gave the club the benefit of the doubt over the ground issue. Hindsight may be easy but it's time to row back from that. Some supporters of other clubs have in the last two seasons labelled Banbury 'tin-pot'. They won't be persuaded they were wrong. Losing to a relegated team that had lost 18 in a row is a really low point. Someone who once had something to say about supporters trusts will be sharpening his quill right now. On the last day of the season in 1990, it was in Banbury's own hands to avoid relegation. In 2015, there was still a chance, although dependent on other results. This time it'll be four games gone.

...this has to be the worst team and management set up I have ever seen and that includes the Jed years. He's another one who'll be laughing up his sleeve. Stratford are in the play-off places (though not guaranteed) and are averaging 652 against Banbury's 606.

A dreadful result. I really thought we would get three points today. Mark Jones was a terrible appointment, he should never have been given the job. He built a team that was no where near good enough for the level. His sacking was correct, he did a poor job. Sadly things have certainly not improved since Kevin Wilson took control. He obviously realised that several players were not good enough and he replaced them with his own signings. There should be no personal insult to either manager, you can be sure they have both given their best. But sadly today should be the end for Kevin,he just hasn't enjoyed any success. We must now accept that we are going down, and we will not be coming back up anytime soon. Now is the time to appoint a new Chairman, we all know who we want!!! The new Chairman can then appoint his new manager and give him time to build a team. Today is a bad day, but some good could come out of it.

Forgot to mention it earlier: new club record of 10 successive league defeats in a season.

Honestly thought today would be 3 points gained, maybe too little too late, but a confidence booster. Not a chance
Losing to a team with an even worse record ffs
Bye bye NLN 🤬
