I wrote in the South Shields thread:
Coming up in the next fortnight:- H Peterborough A Darlington H Rushall H Southport
A minimum of 6 points needed from those, given that Boston, Curzon, Scunthorpe and Hereford follow...
I expected at least two by now...

So I'm guessing we're giving up. Might as well get Davies and Stein back. Nice work Ronnie

Sack Wilson, is a liability, and his day job is a conflict of interest. Why would you dual-register a potential forward (Ethan Fitzhugh) to a club that is going for promotion and that could replace Banbury in the North Conference? Why use the Villa fund to pay for a loan player from a professional club (Lewis Darlington) for one month, surely Peterbourgh should be paying his wages. We have lost the plot. Everything smacks of desperation.

A Southport supporter at Darlington today: There was – obviously – very little quality in what was an attritional game but Darlo deserved the win. They've a very good forward in Cedric Main, who holds the ball up well, and Will Hatfield ran the midfield.
Banbury, on the other hand, were woeful. They produced nothing in the 90 minutes, other than scoring from a cross-gone-wrong. The player that scored for them – and was miles away their best player – is suspended against us.
But really they looked devoid of confidence and got broken apart every time there was a ball played in behind.www.portchat.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1311

Reading the Southport assessment just about sums it up at the moment, a rudderless ship floundering around with little direction. If we don’t get anything from the next two games I’m afraid I will throw in the towel and be resigned to the outcome.
