Will be very tough game. Darlo much improved. Shame we didn't play them 2 months ago. Despite our excellent performance on Saturday, I would be very happy with a point.

I might demur over 'much improved', at least in term of results, although their supporters are agreed that the team is looking a bit better organised since Steve Watson took over in the New Year. 05.08 H L 1-3 Curzon Ashton 12.08 A L 0-1 Hereford 15.08 A L 0-4 Scunthorpe United 19.08 H D 1-1 Brackley Town 26.08 A W 3-2 Alfreton Town 28.08 H D 2-2 South Shields 02.09 A L 0-5 Buxton 05.09 H D 0-0 Boston United 09.09 A L 0-1 Bishop's Stortford 23.09 H D 1-1 Gloucester City 07.10 A L 0-4 Tamworth 14.10 H L 1-2 King's Lynn Town 24.10 H D 0-0 Blyth Spartans 28.10 H L 1-2 Spennymoor Town 04.11 A W 2-1 Farsley Celtic 07.11 A L 0-2 Peterborough Sports 11.11 H W 3-2 Chester 14.11 A L 0-8 Chorley 21.11 H D 1-1 Warrington Town 25.11 H D 1-1 Rushall Olympic 16.12 A W 1-0 Gloucester City 23.12 H L 0-2 Bishop's Stortford 26.12 A L 0-2 Scarborough Athletic 30.12 H L 0-1 Scarborough Athletic 06.01 A W 1-0 King's Lynn Town 09.01 A L 0-2 Southport 13.01 H L 0-1 Tamworth 27.01 H W 2-0 Hereford

Can’t make any comparisons to Saturday but a workmanlike performance, Charlie Waller was the stand out player again. Darlington had a lot of the ball but failed to do much with it and it was defensive errors by us that gave them their goal. Officials one again very poor. Their 5 was constantly trying to swap shirts but totally unseen. Overall another valuable three points.

Banbury were absolutely shocking like every team in this division. Unfortunately, like we have been since February 2023, we are one of worst the division has to offer and it never improves.

Two great fighting performances. Credit to all the management and playing staff. Scarborough probably deserved a draw, but luckily they couldn't hit a barn door from 3 yards. Darlo were not that good and you can see why they are in bottom 4. Jack had nothing to do.
Fantastic spirit from Craig. Hope he can stay till end of season. KW probably does not have a backroom team. Hope he will be able to use his experience and contacts to bring in the extra players that are needed.

Hope he will be able to use his experience and contacts to bring in the extra players that are needed. I hope the board have listened to his two post-match interviews. It's rare to hear someone in football talk so clearly, simply and honestly and with such sincerity and optimism, unlike so many interviews which are cliché-ridden monologues delivered in a tone suggesting the interviewee's house is about to be repossessed and his family made homeless. However, there was a gentle warning in there. Don't lose this one, Banbury.

Darlo were not that good and you can see why they are in bottom 4. Jack had nothing to do. Last season, Darlington led the table over Christmas and the New Year but fell away badly from February onwards (13 points from the last 17 games), just as Banbury did (12 from the last 18). Since their good run ended last February, Darlington's record is P46 W8 D14 L24 F38-A79 Pts 38. Banbury's record since winning at Kidderminster in the same month: P47 W11 D15 W21 F43-A69 Pts 48.

I don't see why not. KW has mentioned 'short term aim', so possibly steadying ship in a management sense, and Craig retains coaching and training supervision. As mentioned in other thread, KW has been out of day-to-day club football. His contacts and, let's say 'senior experience' should be excellent compliment to CM's pre/matchday role. I hope any offer made to CM includes proper progression within the structure.
