Have got behind mj all season but was becoming increasingly hard to defend. We have to look forwards now and hope the club can make a positive appointment

The correct decision ultimately. Was given a fair amount of time but the change had to be made before it became too late and unsavable. The board need to react quickly in getting someone else in. Needs to be someone with good contacts to add to the squad, and then a few (probably most) of Jones signing need to slowly but surely, be moved on elsewhere.

Where do we go now, must find a manager north of the M40,no doubt will be a challenge.

Liked MJ. Very honest. Has been a struggle but timing is not good. Will be no manager for next 2 home games which are vital.
MJ had a monumental task, which many would have struggled with. New manager....if anyone wants it?.....must have contacts. Many games left but probably not enough.
Thank you to MJ very decent bloke

My initial suggestion…
Jimmy ginnelly who left Nuneaton, could easily bring with him 3/4 players who are currently clubless

Always a shame when a seemingly likeable Manager is sacked.
The Directors have played this spot on, I'm sure they would've wanted to see this season out with us scraping survival but the loss to Gloucester was a terrible, terrible loss.
It has to be appreciated that Mark Jones took on one helluva tough ask timings wise !

My initial suggestion… Jimmy ginnelly who left Nuneaton, could easily bring with him 3/4 players who are currently clubless Borough fans don't think much of his ability as a manager and he may still be preoccupied with the fall-out (he owned a part of something in the muddled operation) but, yes, there might be some useful players available.

Where is Kevin Wilson at the moment? What's his present status?

Kevin Wilson is Andy Whing's agent - who created the move to Solihull. Mixed feelings about that. Think it should be a younger man.

We've got to think north for players without alienating the southern players.Difficult task.Liked Jones but our home form and attendances spelt the end

Two home games in four days with no manager.
So who took training last night and who pick the team for these games? No detail in the announcement yesterday.

Correct decision by the club, football was dreadful and fans voting with their feet.
MJ was a nice guy and had a huge task of rebuilding but with no contacts north of Banbury was always going to be a struggle with recruitment, especially with our lack of facilities.
Given how long it took them to replace Whingy I'm hoping the board have a short list already instead of going via Facebook again...
