The Trophy tie was a rumbustious affair with a minor pitch invasion by Gloucester supporters (one of them foolishly tried to chase Norman around the pitch), a visit by Old Bill who bravely corralled a dozen Gloucester supporters of advanced years, and a face-off between Devon Massive and one of theirs. In between all this, Gloucester took the lead and Norman equalised, prompting some very noisy, animated and prolonged celebrations.

Disappointingly but predictably, Banbury lost the replay...

As for Gloucester this season, their change of manager in September hasn't improved their fortunes. They've been affected since the start by budget cuts resulting from off-the-field events.

Totally abject performance, as Geoff has said totally clueless and as for the captain telling some fans to shut the f*** up what does he honestly expect. Whatever wages we are paying some of these players it’s money under false pretences. No doubt small budget and small squad will be rolled out again. Fair play to Gloucester, they wanted it more than we did all over the pitch. So do we now go looking for another manager or just except the inevitable because on this turn out we are without doubt going to get relegated.

Another hopeless performance.

We can all see what we need...a decent experienced centre half would be a good start, we were woeful at the back tonight!

Are forward line is completely useless, but in same regard why are we constantly banging up balls to a striker who can't win a header or hold the ball up?

Are bench is terrible, you look at a few years back and thought "right get him on he'll do something" now...nothing!!

We are heading only one way and something needs to change!

We keep hearing about him making signings in every interview...WHERE ARE THEY?? or are we waiting for City to release a couple??

As for lawson shouting at the fans..I just didn't understand it, we were playing poor are we/they not aloud an opinion, atmosphere was so flat you could hear every word said on the pitch.

The manager looks deflated, the captain isn’t fit for purpose after his behaviour, some of the others just simply aren’t worth the money, crowd of 371 should be sending shockwaves to the boardroom, club progressed remarkably quickly but is now going backwards in a similar speed in many areas, look how many good people have walked away from the club in the last 12 months (mark, Barlow, Kev healey, woz) that should be the warning sign to you all off the pitch is as toxic as on it right now! wholesale changes needed now and in the summer if we want to have a football club still here

A new manager now might, just might,have enough time to save us from what at the moment is certain relegation.
