Boro' this season. Cup matches in brackets.
L L W L L D (L) W L W W (W) L W W (W) W W W
The win in that poor start was against Long Eaton, bottom of the table, and was followed by a 0-7 defeat at Telford before the improvement began with a draw at Stamford. They lost to Carlton (NPL1, one level below) in the FA Cup before beating them in the Trophy and then going to Hyde (currently 4th in NPLP) to get to this round. A fortnight ago they won in the league at Needham Market, currently 2nd.
Banbury should be very wary of them.

Another early cup exit, just not good enough. Manager very apologetic to the fans but said very angry with the performance of the team, mentioned small squad several times but that wasn’t an excuse.

Time to "concentrate on the League" as they say !
We were never going to win the Trophy of course but a few wins and the ££££'s from them would've been very nice !

I apologize for manifesting this earlier in the season and I wish my prediction was not true. The truth is this side cannot score goals and hence the reason we struggle. None of the current squad excites me enough to think we can avoid a relegation struggle, we will go on a losing run.

Well done Nuneaton, wanted it more than us. We were very poor indeed. Yet again we offered nothing up top. We desperately need a consistent goal scorer. Not good enough. It's going to be a struggle for the rest of the season, this team just isn't up to the required standards. Now, a lot of people on here have known me a very long time, and therefore they know I always try not to criticise the match officials. They have got a very hard job to do, and I'm sure they always give their best. I know how hard it is, I did a few Sunday league games myself twenty odd years ago. But, I feel I have to comment on today's referee. It was certainly not his fault we lost. But oh dear,he was awful. He was inconsistent, and at times it looked like he had no clue as to what was going on. A dreadful performance. Hopefully we won't see him again anytime soon.

Not there today. Regretfully I believe we have only had 2 competitive match home wins in the last calender year. Hard to progress

Not Often I comment on matches these days, but that was a deeply disheartening game yesterday.
Bit of perspective is that given what mark Jones walked into, it’s a miracle we are not bottom.
That being said we are incredibly frustrating to watch, doesn’t seem To be a game plan more of a hang in there and Nick It if we can approach, sadly that’s not sustainable and will back fire more often than it’s successful.
We move on to what feels like a 6 pointer Tuesday

Another blank Saturday coming up unless the club can persuade Darlington to move the rearranged league fixture next month from Tue 5th to Sat 9th.

Boro' drawn at home to Fylde in the next round. Not an attractive tie...
As for Saturday's game and the disallowed goal – the highlights show that Yussuf was onside at the moment Barlow struck the shot that hit the bar.
