Just read about Jack Tompkins injury and it’s a big blow not only for him but the team as he has been an influential player in the squad.i think we can all agree to wish him a speedy recovery so he can return to action.

I have emailed Southport. Pictures show this was not an accident, but a vicious dangerous tackle.
I have asked for their views an what they propose to do to help Jack. I understand they may have been contacted directly by the club as well.i believe No reply of any sort has been received.

Always going to be hard to prove if a player went into a challenge with intent to inflict injury, hopefully the player concerned has a conscious and comes forward with an apology at the very least but I’m not holding my breath.
