No they don't! Otherwise that bloke A. Trialist would be high up in our all time appearance records!! No one asked me but I decided to keep quiet when I saw it, not wanting to detract from a positive, feel good story.

The Martin Singleton appearance is correct but whether he is actually the youngest is not known, after all we go back to 1933 and don't have those sort of records.

Martin didn't make a league appearance for us at that age, sadly we don't know the youngest to have played in a league game for us either!
