Nothing really 'earth-shattering'. The area for the away fans will move (to Town End tea bar section - as the Barrow FAC match), which means home fans can take up position all round the ground. Lots of applications in for manager/coach position. New manager appears to be perfect for the role - keen and has put a lot of research into the (ex) players and positions to be filled (all?). Discussions with prospective players in hand. Main part about the ground lease already annouced on club site. Couple of AOB about clubhouse use/revenue/manager + income questions. Alfie will most probably have a short blog up about it at some point?
My take on the night: big attendance, slightly positive about current lease, new manager 'looks' a good and positive choice. Managers/players come and go - the club will hopefully outlive us all. UTP!

The meeting was very well attended. Room was full. Ronnie kicked things off by outlining the ground situation. We have got two more seasons and that's it. We will then need a new ground, or we will have to ground share somewhere, or we will exist no more. Things really are that serious. Something has to happen quickly or we could be a thing of the past. Dave Goulding then took the floor to answer questions on any subject from attendees. The board were expecting a lot of confrontation, however there was none. It was all very friendly which was of course a very good thing. A few questions were asked about players etc,and Dave answered them all in a professional manner. The new manager was not in attendance, but he is planning to do a q&a session soon, probably after a pre season game. Ronnie was as ever the complete professional and the evening went without a hitch.

Overall a positive meeting which was well attended - good idea to have the GM after Whingy resigned etc and majority of the members were happy.

Yes, and I think the club were aware of that and acted - hence Ronnie being nervous at the start. I think you will start to see new signings and players committing in the next week...
