I have just seen that the club is asking for Volunteer support to help out with a variety of roles, correct me if I am wrong but these tasks had been covered but quite a number of people have thrown the towel in and no explanation from the club. Granted volunteering demands a lot of time and work but not all have left as it seems because of time constraints.

The club will miss the input of Steve Barlow, he put in a lot of volunteer hours every week. A hard act to follow. A big loss to the club.
The fact we now need people for so many different roles is quite alarming.

Seems to suggest the people who have been drafted in,I might add with no real consultation with the membership don't seem to know what they are doing, as you say Pete,worrying times. As I have said a lot of good long standing volunteers have walked away and nobody within the club currently seems to want to know why. |
