Well here we are nearly at the end of what has to be the clubs most historical season. So what does everybody think about our first venture into national league football. Personally I don’t think we can underestimate what an achievement it has been given our resources and the commitment of the team. There is no doubt that next season will bring its challenges but we now know what’s coming.

Early season was almost nosebleed territory being at the top end of the table
Cup runs damaged our league season as we've a small, inexperienced part-time squad
We've survived despite losing Chris Wreh, Morgan Roberts and Jack Stevens and not many could've done what we've achieved by staying up after that
Despite calls for the Board to back the Manager with money that just plain isn't there, the majority of fans know our financial limitations and we've got to hope that Whingy & Co can find some hungry and good young loanees to give it a good go next season - that's the exciting unknown
Oh and playing our Youth Team in the OSC is a must
It's been a great season, thank you Whingy and team, the players, the Board, Puritans Radio (for match coverage) and the volunteers !

So, we've finished 17th. I think if we are totally honest most of us would have taken that last August. Yes, we were flirting with the top positions in the autumn, but in all honesty we knew it couldn't last. I would imagine that we have got the lowest budget in the division. Our players are part time, and the club is run by volunteers. We really are the minnows, and we are punching well above our weight. Next season will be tough. We know what to expect now. We must increase the size of the squad, and we must sign at least one good, proven striker. I'm just chuffed to still be in the division.
