I’ve watched a few dreadful games this season and tonight’s was no exception, let me add not as far as Banbury were concerned, Alfreton used every trick in the book, time wasting, moaning and generally spoiling the game with hoof ball tactics to the tall number 9 who was absolutely useless. It was a shame that we allowed them to equalise so soon after we scored. Worse case scenario is that we stay up on goal difference if closest teams win their remaining games.

Worse case scenario is that we stay up on goal difference if closest teams win their remaining games. I certainly can't see Blyth recovering 12 goals or Farsley 19, especially with their fixtures on Saturday (Alfreton A, Gloucester H). Nevertheless, safety has been achieved with just one win in the last 16...

We were certainly the better team, Alfreton play route one football, not great to watch. We look safe now, which is great.

I thought we looked a lot better going forward last night, just need a #9 to help the ball in the net more often. Disappointed with Alfreton, they seem to settle for a point which is surprising given that they were 7th. They only had their big #9 who seemed to head everything going.
Will be nice 'celebrating' staying up at home on Saturday.

great to see we also recalled a dual registration player ... Jack looked good too when he came on. A great team performance that we deserved to win, but will take the draw and feels great that weve managed to all but cement our league status for next season.
