It’s not quite the end of the season yet but today it certainly felt like it with neither side making any real impact, that said another valuable point on the board. As we have said before if you can’t win ensure you don’t lose.

Elsewhere, two teams are trying hard to throw it away: Fylde, with three defeats in four could yet send the the title to Potato Land, while you-know-who haven't won in nine and now face three play-off contenders. Up north, Farsley's game at home to Blyth was called off late because heavy rain after 1.30pm left one of the goalmouths looking like this: Fifty years ago no one would have questioned it. 'Going good to soft', as it were... Two new trips next season will be Scunthorpe and South Shields, and possibly Oxford City if Leiston are promoted from SLP Central.

Tidy triangle football but with no release,we will have to be more expansive in the future but cannot fault the effort.yes hope it's Tamworth and Nuneaton in the playoffs. Leam are doomed surely?

Not the greatest of games, but another valuable point. Plenty of possession, but we never looked like scoring. Hopefully next season will see us with a proven striker. Some big clubs look to be joining the division, should make for an exciting next season.

Tamworth's match at home to Nuneaton in February, attended by more than 2,100, was abandoned in the second half when the home side went 2-0 up and Boro' 'fans' caused a breach of the peace. The FA has charged both clubs and they had until last Tuesday (4th April) to respond. No date has yet been set for the restaging of the match but given that the last round of fixtures is Saturday the 22nd, it can only be next week. The local plod will be praying that they avoid each other in the semi-finals and one of them loses.
As for Brakes, it will be a disappointment if they go down if only because they're nearby and a decent turnout is assured (as long as the league arranges the game for a public holiday or a Saturday that is NOT an FA Cup or Trophy day).

Tamworth v. Nuneaton is to be played on Thursday 20th, two days before the last round of matches. Boro won't be too bothered as they've qualified for the play-offs and are unlikely to finish higher than 4th but Tamworth can still win the title.

Peterborough Sports have switched Saturday's game against Darlington to Kettering because improvement work at their ground isn't finished. They have also cited 'security' as a possible problem, with Peterborough United at home to Bristol Rovers and Truckfest taking place at the riverside showground. Naturally, Darlo fans are upset, particularly those who have booked non-refundable rail tickets at £80-110. It's a poor decision, so close to the day of the match. Peterborough had already been given an extension to get ground improvement works done. Will there be some in authority wondering if demotion should be considered?

Good case for all the rail travelling fans to claim refunds from Peterborough Sports but the again they could do the same with us after the debacle with our home game.

Darlington FC and the supporters club are jointly funding a coach to run from Peterborough station to Kettering.

Ominous? It's a generous gesture for those supporters who would have been seriously out of pocket otherwise. Of course, any Kettering fans who don't want to go to Kidderminster to support their team in trying to avoid the drop might well turn up but given that there is similar contempt for PS in the town, I suspect they might support Darlington on the day.
As for Darlo, their chances of the play-offs are all but nil but their supporters are indignant about the late change so it could be a meaningless match with an enormous amount of feeling...

Mis-read the room there a bit, didn’t realise it’s meant to be a magnanimous gesture 😂😂😂
