The game of two halves, the first half was a bit of a stalemate with neither side creating much at all but the second half tea break had the desired effect with much more attacking intent. The mazy run by Jack Stevens turned the Chorley defence inside out for a well taken goal. The Chorley No5 must have had a brainstorm to commit the same foul twice and get sent off. I thought this game was going to be a bigger challenge but I think the difference was that Chorley did come to play football rather than kick everything and we play better against sides that want to play. Another three points on the board and up to seventh.
