Whole game was a bit of a non event with nothing to shout home about, neither keeper really tested, had 0-0 written all over it until Jay Williams rifled the ball home very late on. All in all another three points on the board and we move on to face Chorley.

We looked off the pace, to be fair BPA closed us down consistently throughout the game.
BPA didn't look like they were going to score and neither did we.
Positive, Jack Stevens, looked quick and sharp for his little run out near the end, will need him Saturday with Slavi pulling his hamstring.

I enjoyed much of the football from both sides in the first half. Ben didn't appear to get into the game at all. BPA's 9&10 started off pretty mobile. 2nd half was just frustrating. Final pass was often misplaced. Alex did what he could after Slavi went off. A win is a win and hopefully a bit more fortune, along with a more cohesive performance on Saturday. Not sure what AW getting booked was about? I suspect it was because JW was fouled, then he committed a foul and was booked?
