I have been a United fan for more years than I care to mention, I have seen highs and lows, seen crowds of 60 and crowds of over 1500, as a football team we have come so far in the last six or so years, but.
As with all good things, there is a band wagon to be got on, and unfortunately a small number of complete idiots have squeezed on.
The Hereford game for example, United fans were held back, rightly or wrongly, and the idiot element dicided to aim their frustration ( childishness ) at the police, people complaining they had been pepper sprayed /hit with battens. Had those idiots complied with the police, they would have gone home unscathed, simple, I did.
This observation is not limited exclusively to the younger emement of our crowds, there are plenty of fans who are older enough to know better.
The setting off flares, well people very close to the hierarchy within the club, stand with these idiots, they know who is responsible, but shy away from doing the right thing for the club. The same with the fighting. Is this more to do with the finances? . Are they not calling these people out for fear of losing revenue?
I would say on a positive, that the chanting has been immense these last few seasons, the away support is fantastic, but if you are a true Banbury United fan, go and sing your heart out, get behind your team, get behind Whingy, just leave your fists in your pockets, and your flares at home, we don't want to see either.
The heart and soul of this club is being ripped out, because of a small minority of idiots, have a word with yourselves, grow up, it needs to stop.

Andy as a very long standing supporter myself I agree totally with everything you have said, as I have posted before I said my piece to a bunch after a smoke bomb was set off, the smirking and arrogant looks that came back were typical of some of the youth that have no respect for anyone or anything, one fan even accused me of shouting at them. There is a hardcore who seem to dress in all black attire and mostly with faces covered, I guess they think it gives them some sort of kudos on the terraces but sadly the whole problem will take time to sort out and the clubs hierarchy must now step up and look for some sort of resolution.

Agree with everything said above. This must be costing the club a chunk of cash. Cash that the same idiots seem to think that the board should be giving to Whingy to spend. We’re about to enter a global recession, the club need to preserve whatever spare funds we have to ride out the storm. It is not going to be helped by having to pay fines, increase stewarding costs, etc. etc.
yes - the match should have been segregated, but seriously, Banbury United needing to segregate fans at every - unbelievable
The sooner the rotten element are weeded out the better … they’re not welcome!
Enough people know who the trouble makers are for the club to just ban them.

Yes we have some issues but Tuesday was a bunch of Scouse Chester 20 somethings who came for a fight (one actually told me so in between the obscenities for everything for Banbury) and a major balls up by the board. Anyone would have known Chester are one of the most supported away from home and potential for trouble.
Even the older Chester fans were frightened to say a word to the group of lads and everyone watched them walk around the ground including all the stewards by the clubhouse.

Maybe so Spoons - but why are they coming for a fight? Because of idiots bigging it up on social media and events from prior games.
Some need to take responsibility for their actions.
And absolutely no excuse for throwing smoke bombs at the crowd - hope whoever did it gets caught and dealt with by the law and s lifetime ban.

And the idiots have had more publicity to boost their small minded ego’s with a piece about the trouble on BBC South East News, publicity of the wrong sort.

What made all of this a lot worse was when the so called “ Banbury blackout boys “ put a picture of themselves on social media , this as been like a red rag to a bull .I have personally had fans of Chester and Scarborough ask me before and during games , where are these blackout boys ? Of which I just laughed off and said there just kids .unfortunately word has spread and there will be more problems ahead . The authorities ( police and the club) need to take them out NOW , these so called investigations are going on too long . I would love to know where the club are getting their advise from regarding segregation because that punch up would of obviously not happened if Chester were all in the Sutton end .
