If only it was just financial... Problem is everyone will be tarnished as well as the club. If the allegations of what happened at the ground and after are true then Banbury supporters aren't going to be welcomed with open arms anywhere. The way twitter replies and blocking people is concerned, you may aswell just hold your hands up. Yes it's the minority but we as a club get the reputation. I hope these Herbert's can be found and dealt with properly and in the correct manner. All the hard work being done on the pitch is being undone by morons.

Totally agree, at the last home game I lost it a bit and had a rant at a few after a smoke bomb was set off again but sadly it was a total waste of time, the arrogance and smirking looks that came back shows that there in some cases is a total lack of respect for anything, I know in our younger days we weren’t all angels but I I don’t think we ever brought the club into disrepute. Of course it is a different world we live in now and social media plays a huge part in it. I only hope that this whole sad situation can be resolved at a time when OUR club is enjoying the most successful time in its history. |

I don't see any fair way that there can be financial penalties on the club. No one will be found as we all know. Banbury 'fan' almost certain, but how can an away team at this level have any control of people who turn up. Whether you like it not racism still continues everywhere, not good at all, but all you can try and do is keep getting the message across. Football bangs on about it cos it is there.
This was likely one idiot who has caused damage to the clubs reputation. But we all know this is not what the club or the fans are about

What also doesn’t help on social media is residents of Banbury adding little comments and stoking the fires , boils my p*ss
