Fed up now of seeing posts about Banbury United fans being thugs!!. I bring my autistic son to every home game and some away games and I would never bring him if I thought he would be any danger. Banbury are now taking 400-500 to some away games and because we are singing and banging and other clubs aren’t used to it Banbury get a reputation of being thugs. Nearly every away game we’ve been to I’ve seen fans from the home team give Banbury fans notpermitted and trying to start a fight. At corby last season one of there fans stood in the middle of the Banbury fans trying to start a fight. We don’t plaster this all over twitter as we know there’s always a few that cause trouble but 99% fans are there to enjoy the game and have a good time. There are plenty of pictures going round of the 72 year old Hereford fan with Blood on his face but Banbury fans haven’t posted pictures of the same 72 year old throwing the same bin over the fence. I hope Banbury fans carry on singing, Banging and cheering for the rest of the season and if other teams don’t like it tough notpermitted.

100% agree. Most clubs at last years level can't cope with numbers. Switching the game to Tuesday is MORE LIKELY to attract outside trouble makers. Any trouble at Leamington .....NO...so where is the problem. Or is it that there won't be a copper anywhere in South Warwickshire

It’s the usual over reaction that’s now in society as a whole . Where idiots can go on social media and post anything they like and the masses believe it .Ive already today seen comments on Facebook branding Banbury fans as thugs , some of these people I know and have never been to a football match in their lives . Let’s carry on and be loud and proud ! UP THE PURITANS

Also, thuggery is not passion.
