Saturday's match against Hereford will, predictably, be segregated. There's are no details as to exactly how this will be implemented but the brief notice on the website says the visitors will get the cowfield end. That's preferable to the arrangements for the Barrow game and Hereford's visit in 2017 when they brought almost 400 on a Tuesday night. Will there be more on a Saturday? Their recent home support hasn't quite reached the heights of their post-reform rise – 2,800 at the start in the Midland League to under 2,000 last season – but they've started this season with 2,200 twice. It'll still be another test for Banbury.

How many do you think the Sutton end can accommodate with anything between 300-500 expected. Overall crowd should be around 1400-1600 . Should be a great occasion with two in form teams and the atmosphere will have a bit of a edge . Looking forward can’t wait

Post-match radio chat, including AW's interview, referred to 'things said about Banbury' during the last week. I assume they were of the tone of the first two comments in this Hereford forum thread: saveedgarstreetforum.proboards.com/thread/7026/another-defeatFor them, the Football League must seem a long way off when beaten by little teams...
