Not a fan of scheduling two games in a week when there are nearly 40 other weekends. Seems that is leagues plan, tough if you a spate of injuries for your local derby. Prefer one at festive season and one at Easter (or Aug weekend). And you get two attempts in media for attracting people.
Fairly stiff opening games, see where we are come early in September.

The north-eastern trips are out of the way early on Saturdays (although fingers will be crossed that it's not a wet October) but offset by Potato Land (twice) on Tuesdays. It's a shame Gloucester at home is on a Tuesday. Starting at Curzon Ashton is not the grand opening that might have been hoped for β let's hope it's a better day out than Sittingbourne in 2000, that anti-climactic return to the Southern League.
Games that will have to be moved if clubs make progress in the cups: Bradford Avenue H (FAC 4Q), Farsley A (FAC 1), Telford A (FAC 2); Leamington H (FAT 4), Southport A (FAT 5).

Bit disappointing that Chester at home is midweek, they would have bought a nice following on a Saturday.

Clubs who should bring decent numbers and are scheduled to visit on Saturdays are Darlington, Hereford, Kettering, Kidderminster and Telford. Having only two of five Bank Holidays at home is a bit disappointing, especially when one of them is Peterborough. Nevertheless, average away support ought to be a lot more than the typical 30-40 of recent seasons.

Living in the north-west so fortunately can get to a lot of the northern fixtures fairly easy. Fylde ground looks terrific. Darlington away should be a good atmos too.

Not a fan of scheduling two games in a week when there are nearly 40 other weekends. And why two midweek games in December when there are three slots free in August and September?
