So Chris Wreh is having trials at Southend United and has scored two goals in three games (one against Canvey Island and one against Kettering).

Wreh signed for Southend?.Ben re signed. Really only lacking a centre forward now. I understand every target has turned the club down. Fingers crossed

We will miss Chris up front,he was a very good centre forward, a target man. But good luck to him trying to play at a higher level. He certainly did a great job for us.
Finding a replacement will be difficult, every club is looking for a regular goal scorer.

Chris has today signed a contract with Southend. They seem very pleased to have got him. Personally I think he will do very well at the higher level.
We now need a replacement ASAP.

A squad of 15 is down to 12, one of whom is Ben Taylor. There's Will Owens, the loanee, and Aiden Hawtin if required but it's a bit early for a crisis. Any rumours, anyone? Perhaps we'll hear something after training tonight.

Another young loanee signed, but I think this lack of players is worrying. Positive Whingy realises this but do not want a really long season with a lack of players .
