Bit of a damp squib game but enough done to gain all three points.
At the final whistle I was really looking forward to seeing the Trophy presentation and subsequent celebrations, however this was prevented by having the barriers across by the players exit. I understand the reason for having barriers but today none of the players or officials left the pitch until the presentations were completed. Whoever made the decision not to allow a lot of supporters to gain access to the presentation area need to have a long look at themselves. As a lifetime supporter I was denied the opportunity to join in a once in a lifetime celebration because of a jobsworth.

One query, how much will it cost to repair the trophy 🏆, One handle came off when lifted up by Gio and the base looked to come off when coming over to the fans in the town end.

A great day for the club. Something a lot of us have dreamed about happening for many decades. However, I was very disappointed not to be able to witness the team lift the trophy because I was one of several hundred supporters blocked off by the barriers by the tunnel. We were all told where the presentation would take place, but we were certainly not told that we would not be allowed to see it. Very disappointing, hopefully I will be able to see it online. Fingers crossed that we can reach the magic 100 on Saturday.

Fuming is an understatement.I (along with many regular home and away supporters) have waited a lifetime to see this moment. I was one of the Frustrated supporters not to see the Trophy presentation, however please do not put all of the blame on Steve Barlow. On a normal day all the main Banbury following would have been in or around the Town End at the final whistle, therefore planning the presentation in front of the main stand kind of made sense. Due to change of ends the majority of fans were at the Sutton End at full time. In hindsight (a wonderful thing) the presentation should have at least been moved to the Centre circle, then all of us could have seen it. Notwithstanding the above all players and officials were still on the pitch and it was obvious none had any immediate intention of leaving the pitch. The pitch gate was shut so NO REASON WHATSOVER TO HOLD US BACK The main blame for lack of access lies with that "Jobsworth" Steward who is clearly incapable of thinking "outside the box". "UMMM let me think............the pitch gates are closed so I could simply slide back the barriers and let them through................Well you didn't so cheers for that. I do not know if any board members read this forum but I sincerely hope you see this and realize the frustration and disappointment of a large section of loyal supporters today. I trust the powers that be will ensure the steward involved does not form part of the Stewarding team ever again in future. PS this is my polite post with several other drafts previously edited and deleted.

Stood on the townend to watch the presentation Someone with a bit of common sense Well I must apologise for not having any common sense along with the crowd who were stood beside and around me, my issue was that at the time it would have been easy to let supporters through as at no point before the presentations was anyone going to leave the pitch also given that the gates to the pitch were closed as well.

In years to come, supporters will tell the tale of The Cup That Fell Apart! Given the good state of the club, it won't be an omen, merely an indication that the SL are cheapskates.

I think we all know the steward who keeps getting mentioned. He really is an embarrassment. Hopefully the management board will step in and not use that particular individual again.
