Just a reminder if any of the idiots who throw these things around read this forum, the Manager does not want to see this as it’s uncalled for and he was incensed. Appears that the Police have been involved at Rushall according to the commentary.

Success sadly will attract some idiots who think it’s all very jolly and clever and pass it off as high spirits and it’s only a bit of fun but there is a lack of understanding of what is and is not allowed.

Idiots with flares.There will be talk of bad behaviour with the police being called at the end of the game. From what I saw nothing much happened. There were however two very unpleasant Rushall fans who verbally assaulted the Banbury players leaving the field. Not a problem really but passions were high.
Even 1st half. Banbury by far the better team in the 2nd. The best team in this league.
Banbury will now be champions

Should be, but technically need another 11 points.
As I drove off the 2 police cars and a riot van drove into the car park. I think a quiet word is needed with the idiots with flares and if they persist then tougher action.

Totally agree Pete, I to have also waited a long time from way back to the Townley era when the club nearly folded, through the Hellenic wilderness years and more recently the Stein debacle. |

As someone said on the way out yesterday. If the club does accrue fines, these should be made public and hopefully that makes people see the damage that's being done.

Also a statement made by Banbury casuals this morning, A very small minority of puritans fans are bang to rights on the pyro issues but Some Rushall fans more than happy to get amongst it

There was wrong on all sides yesterday, including some senior fans that should know better than to be aggressive to minors however frustrated they are and rightly so I admit, but what needs to happen now is the youth are gathered together for a meeting with the club and someone like Kev healey and mark A acting as the go between and spoken to firmly but calmly, no more warnings now tho it’s last chance Territory with the smoke bombs
We need the new support but we all must unite to coach the new fans in the rights and wrongs of supporting a non league club. I have learned from past mistakes Myself let’s help these lot learn too and continue growing this fantastic club
The club is having an amazing season, everyone has played a part in that from Andy W and his staff, players. the board, ground staff and volunteers and all the old loyal fans and the new tramway crew, let’s not turn on each other now but come together to make sure this doesn’t happen again

Just a little reminder courtesy of the Official Website.
We would remind all supporters that as per these regulations it is a criminal offence for a person to enter or attempt to enter a football ground while in possession of a pyrotechnic such as flare, smoke bomb or firework. Anyone found doing so will face a banning order from our ground.
