Hi guys, I come in peace from Nuneaton way. I'm currently supporting with the matchday programme saturday, I was hoping if someone wouldn't mind completing a questionnaire ahead of the game?
Questions are
1) First name: 2) How long you been a Banbury United fan? 3) It's been some season for Banbury, being top of the league with 13 point lead. How does it feel? 4) What was your expectations back in the pre-season? 5) Are you confident that you can go on to clinch promotion? 6) What do you believe has been key to Banbury's success so far this season? 7) Is there any Banbury players to look out for? 8) What are your thoughts on Nuneaton Boro this season? 9) What are you expecting from Saturday's game? 10) Score prediction?

As noted on the website match preview, rail travel to Nuneaton is difficult this weekend with buses replacing trains on the shorter route via Coventry (40 miles). To avoid spending 80 minutes on a bus travelling 20 miles from Leamington to Nuneaton, go via Brum Moor Street and New Street (63 miles). Overall outward journey time on both routes is about 2 hours (via Coventry is normally ~60-90 minutes). Some homeward journeys may be a bit shorter.
Individual return fare is £34.90 but a group booking will reduce that to £23.

Was really worried when I heard about the injuries in back line. They all played very well.
Real concern is our front line … very poor again today. Really lacked any threat. Wreh especially looks tired.
In the end a decent point away, I am hoping for much more attacking threat midweek.

From the Nuneaton forum:
Banbury certainly didn't look any better than us.
I've seen Banbury twice this season...how are they top of the table...how have they only dropped points in 6 games? Football is great, must have caught them on a bad day twice.
Banbury did not look like champions elect; how much of that was down to Boro?
The answer to the last question is 'a lot'. Banbury had plenty of possession but apart from the first-half effort against the bar they rarely opened up the home defence which just kept forcing them down blind alleys. On the few occasions when there was a hint of a sight of goal from outside the area, no one had the mind to shoot, especially in the second half with the wind at their backs. A couple of free-kicks in good positions were wasted. Boro hit the angle of bar and post in the first half and in the second Jack Harding made one good double save from close range; apart from that their finishing was tame or off-target but at least they had a go.
Nevertheless, Banbury looked reasonably solid in defence given that the two full-backs were Harry Reilly and Aidan Hawtin. Sam Brown and Jack Finch are the strong physical presence Banbury teams have lacked for so long and James Golding is clearly destined for higher things so let's hope he gets a medal this season.
I suggested at the top that the Andy Whing revolution began at Nuneaton last season. It hasn't foundered on its return but some of the troops are looking a bit fatigued.
