One of Banbury's bogey grounds, at least in this century. They've had a mixed season: no wins in their first nine games, during which they lost 4-8 at Peterborough, followed by eight in the last 14, although even during that improvement they managed to lose three games by four goals: Nuneaton H 2-6; Alvechurch A 1-5; Hitchin H 0-4. However, they've won their last three without conceding (Barwell and Bromsgrove A, Redditch H).
Banbury away to Stourbridge in the SL: 71-72 W 2-0 72-73 W 2-0 73-74 L 0-6 76-77 L 0-1 77-78 D 0-0 78-79 D 1-1 79-80 D 1-1 80-81 L 0-2 81-82 D 1-1 84-85 L 0-2 85-86 D 0-0 86-87 W 1-0 87-88 W 3-1 88-89 W 3-0 89-90 L 0-1 08-09 D 1-1 (at Halesowen) 09-10 L 1-2 10-11 L 1-2 11-12 L 0-5 12-13 L 1-8 13-14 L 0-5 18-19 L 0-2 19-20 D 1-1
NB It's worth keeping an eye on the weather. Rain is forecast for the morning. If it is called off, let's hope the club is quick off the mark and can get it played on March 12th, initially a blank day for the league but one which some clubs have already used for rearrangements. More fans will be able to travel on a Saturday.

Shame we may turn up with a very weakened team. It would be great to go there and win, but injury and illness may rob us of that pleasure.
Would be good if it was called off. Unlikely though

This is by no means the Stourbridge of old having lost ten games, that said we may suffer with having to field a weakened team and historically it has never been a happy hunting ground.

Great win, weathered a late Stourbridge onslaught, post, offside and Jay being a rock! Everyone played their part today!

By any stretch of the imagination this was a brilliant win at a club where up till now we have had a terrible record..The backs to the wall mentality is incredible throughout the whole team. Not going to make any predictions yet as we all know how cruel the game can be.

Absolutely remarkable. Run out of things to say. A game we probably should not have won, but we did. Remarkable

I think this is the biggest difference that I've seen this season (didn't really get a feel for the last truncated season) Under Andy 0-0 with ten minutes to go, home or away, we look for the winner, then if we get one goal, we still look for the second. I think under Mike we'd try to shut up shop and play out the draw.
