St Ives have brought in Mckenzie Chapman on loan from Oxford, as Ben Heath was sent off last week and suspended for the game tomorrow. Paul White departed St Ives recently opting to go to Peterborough Sports.
So a few who have played for Banbury, Nabil who seems to score each time we play with him in the opposition side.
Ethan Johnson who may well do well as a foil off Nabil.
Hope for a similar score as at the Spencer Stadium.

Poorest performance of the season by a long way. Loads of possession but never really ever looked like scoring, never mind winning.

Mike Ford gave a very measured and fair interview after the game. Indeed, his calm style is something that AW could learn from.
He also said that going to Stratford was one of the worst decisions he made in football and that he was glad to now be at a club that respected him...

St ives raised their game big time and probably shaded the second half. Langmead a doubt for Tuesday I would imagine There 17 was on it at the end, proper wound up. Don't think the keeper enjoyed his time with us by his antics at full time.

Brief videos of the goals are on Twitter. Marking for both looks poor, especially the first.

Both interviews well balanced, MF didn’t go overboard and AW recognised a few shortcomings. In reality we all knew we would have to lose somewhere or other so all we can do now is move on to the next game, only real concern are injuries.

No problem with losing the game however my main concern is we are dominating games but not putting away chances. Our goal yesterday was from a Penalty and we wasted too many chances to score with several passages of play braking down on the final ball, or forwards making wrong decisions. The subs made little or no impact with Landers making one good effort, but other than that, just drifting along the right hand touchline out of touch with the game (to be fair he's probably not getting enough game time). They were really up for it, we look tired (which is understandable) and we had to lose sometime. If we really want to win this league we need a credible alternate clinical striker. Chance to put thing right on Tuesday against Biggleswade. Upward and onwards!

St Ives played a high back line, we tried to play through it but as mentioned the passing was not good enough. With the speedy wingers we have perhaps we could of played the long ball over the top?
Giving the ball away especially when not under pressure has been frustrating to see recently.
However, we are a good side and should be right there at the end of the season if we cut out the errors.

Back to 15-16, the promotion season. Banbury had improved after an ordinary start and at turn of the New Year were in good position but with a bit still to do; they looked a bit predictable at times. The signing of Felipe Barcelos made the difference. He gave Banbury an outlet.
