Not a classic given the conditions but another three points on the board, we huffed and puffed a bit a times but apart from one save Ben had to make in the first half there wasn’t much threat. The sending off early on didn’t become the advantage it should have been but it’s the result that matters in the end.

For the pen a flick ball through that Sam Brown was going to get to, the defender turned and his back leg tripped Sam up, not intentional by the defender but a trip in the area is a penalty. The sending off was a double foot challenge of the ground, Morgan nearly jumped over the challenge and was caught, the red card was correct. Royston played better with 10 men, but we wasted chance and we could have had 5 on another day.

Apparently according to some of their supporters we are known for diving and they hope we get promotion so they don’t have to play us again. Scott Bridges got turned inside out by the new lad and guess what, five minutes later he got booked for an agricultural challenge,so all in all sour grapes.
